Apple has released Aperture v3

Apple has released Aperture version 3. Software loyal friend of the photographer is claimed to have over 200 new features developed since February 2008.

In line with new features, it seems Apple aims to make the software easier to use as iPhoto. Not only for professional photographers, this software is also targeting the regular user class.

Quoted from the Apple site, Thursday (11/2/2010), one new feature called ‘Face and Places’ which allows users to detect a face image and name. As a result, your Mac can ‘recognize’ the face of a friend or anyone who was on the picture

Users can also use the GPS location to mark where the photo was taken. These applications use geo coding to convert the coordinates.

Aperture 3 also has dozens of preset adjustment, which allows color correction of a photo. With this preset variants, a photographer can make ordinary photos processed as a professional photographer.
